RAPID FIRE WITH THE BRILLIANT FURQAN QURESHI

The first time we saw Furqan Qureshi, it was in a drama serial called 'Dreamers' where he played a supporting role alongside Shehzad Sheikh and Ainy Jafri in lead roles, and within seconds, we fell in love with the handsome actor. He captivated his audience with his natural style of acting and strong screen presence.

Qureshi rose to stardom through his impactful track of performances. In 2016, he portrayed the role of a transgender in the drama serial ‘Khuda Mera Bhi hai’, and it is known as one of his best performances to date. He is currently busy with a few other projects, and the way he is improving himself to become a better actor is worth admiring. 

The actor has shown much dedication towards his work and has grown over the years. To know more about this proficient actor, HELLO! played a quick rapid-fire with him. 

What is the best thing that happened to you this month?

My mom's birthday is the best thing that has happened to me this month.

Name 3 things that you always carry with you?

My wallet, my car keys, and my conscience.

What is the best compliment you’ve ever received? 

The best compliment I ever received is that I hold empathy for people, and I think that is the most beautiful thing one can have. 

What is your favorite birthday cake? 

Since I don't have a sweet tooth, so any cake would do.

What is one thing you still have from your childhood? 

I used to call my dad at work every day and ask him to bring me a soft drink. And without saying anything, he would. Although my dad could have gotten a carton at once but no, he would buy a bottle for me every single day. Perhaps he also liked me calling him. 

What is your favorite movie?

My all-time favorite is The Shawshank Redemption, and in Hindi,  Andaz Apna Apna. 

What is something you can’t do? 

There are a lot of things I can't do, but to answer the question. I think I cannot wrong somebody. 

What’s heavily played on your music playlist right now?

I'm hooked to the song Believer - Imagine Dragons.

What is something you’re tired of?

I'm tired of trying to understand fools. 

What do you usually eat for breakfast?

Chai and toast!

First celebrity crush?

I don't mean to sound so deep and intellectual. But, I always crush on people that make sense - never the personality, nor the face or the beauty.

What is your guilty pleasure?

The ultimate guilty pleasure is, I watch TikTok. I have an account but never uploaded a single video. I like watching TikTok, and sometimes the act people do boils my blood.
