'Mom' Trailer: Sajal Aly and Adnan Siddiqui Deliver A Powerful Performance

The trailer of Sridevi's eagerly awaited film starring Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui was unveiled on Saturday. The trailer is intriguing and turns out to be somewhat of a suspense thriller. We know nothing about the plot except that it is somewhat based on a mother-daughter relationship and later to be followed by two strong male characters who also play a pivotal role in the film.

As the trailer unfolds, we see flashbacks of Sridevi and her family. Her relationship with her teenage daughter Arya, played by Sajal seems delicate and unstable. Eventually, an unfortunate incident separates the two to the point of no return. Is Arya dead or gone missing? The trailer doesn't reveal that.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui (plays DK), Akshaye Khanna and Adnan Siddiqui leave a powerful impact in the little that they are given to do in the trailer. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is wonderfully creepy and has all the best lines in the trailer. Sridevi as always delivers a stellar performance, with the right amount of vulnerability and dilemma in her act.
