Friends of Pink Ribbon Karachi chapter presented a Theatre Evening featuring Beegul's Mar Nay Say Pehlay Jannat on Sunday 5th November; an Urdu play produced and directed by Khalid Ahmad, in aid of the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer hospital in Lahore to serve all of Pakistan.





The committee worked relentlessly to organise this Fundraising Red Carpet event with Neil and Jana's live band, a delicious Chinese dinner sponsored by Avari Towers, a silent auction and gifts for all followed by a short presentation by CEO Mr Omer Aftab and Mehnaz Karamat. (Chairperson Friends of Pink Ribbon Karachi Chapter). Numerous women entrepreneurs especially fashion designers also come forward to donate top of the line formals for a Silent Auction, in support of the Breast Cancer hospital. Gul Ahmed were the platinum sponsors and desserts were by Lal's patisserie.









 

The entire proceeds of the evening will go to the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Hospital, Pakistan's first dedicated Breast Cancer Hospital.

The Pink Ribbon Campaign focuses on spreading awareness and establishing Pakistan's first dedicated Breast Cancer hospital. The hospital project cost is estimated at Rs500 million of which over Rs 50 million has already been raised. A plot has been acquired in Lahore and construction has begun.
