Keep it clean
The most important reason for hair fall is dandruff and an itchy scalp. Therefore, maintain good cleanliness for beautiful and healthy hair. Staying at home doesn’t mean that you can slack on hygiene.
Don’t over wash your hair
Wash your hair every 2-3 days, for the proper regulation of natural hair oils. Washing your hair less will also help you get back your hair's natural body and shine. Washing your hair too often will make it dry, so make sure to avoid that.
Avoid hot water
Skip hot water showers, because hot water will make your hair dry and brittle as it strips protective oils from your hair . Keep the water temperature just a bit warmer than your body temperature.
Oil your hair
You should always make sure to oil your hair once a week, but if you have been lazy, now is the best time to make sure that you follow the routine of oiling your hair at least once a week. Use almond oil to treat dry and damaged hair. It works like magic.
DIY hair mask
Use an entire egg to condition your hair. If you have dry or brittle hair, use egg whites to moisturise your hair. Use ½ cup of any egg mixture (egg white, entire egg) and apply to clean, damp hair. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with cool water. You will notice great results instantly.
Give your hair a break
Now that you are home, it is best to avoid hair straighteners, curling wands and even hair dryers: let it air dry. Let your hair breath and give it a break from heat and damage.
