Women in Power celebrated at She Vows Gala 2022
She Vows Gala 2022 was sponsored by Bank Alfalah, an event to celebrate women coming from different spheres to rejoice in each other’s accomplishments and extend their networks. In a country like Pakistan where there lies gender disparity, an event to highlight women's accomplishments in various fields shows how women have reached greater heights and are now given recognition. This initiative was to acknowledge outstanding women.
The official tea partners were Tapal tea and the media partners were FHM, Vouch365, Omni media Group, People magazine, String PR, and Manhattan. The gift partner of the event was Meezan Oil.
The guest of honor was Syeda Saeeda Bano, Former VP FPCCI and Founder President of Karachi women's chamber of commerce (KWCCI DIST EAST) She devoted her life to the service of grass root level women who wish to start their businesses. The second guest was Ms. Raeda Latif Head of Marketing & Business Development, she has 20 years of experience in the domains of Corporate Communications, Brand Building, Strategic Marketing, and Digital Strategy. Ms. Raeda has held senior positions at various corporations including Faysal Bank, UBL Fund Managers, PMEX, IGI Financial Services, Union Bank, Cyber Internet Services, and Habib Oil Mills.
Many exemplary women came into the limelight through this event. The awards were provided to Asma Shakeel who is a Careem captain. In a men-oriented field, she made her place and is known to be a hardworking captain.
Nida Haider Ali, Managing Partner IAL, Saatchi & Saatchi has been formulating and developing the role of brand strategy in the advertising industry in Pakistan.
Doctor Lubna along with serving the country through her medical assistance is also a founder of the Nayab Welfare human health care and Orphanage association.
Nazafreen Saigol Lakhani is the Deputy Chief Executive of the Dawn Media Group, one of the oldest and largest media companies in Pakistan. Also, CEO of FM 89 and General secretary of APNS.
Dr. Zubaida Qazi, president of Pink Pakistan is a non-profit organization serving women belonging to marginalized communities.
Fauzia Shaheen is the founder and Executive Director of the Non-profit organization Women Media Centre which works for women empowerment and gender equality in media. She contributed to women's empowerment by training more than 5000 women Journalists and female students of mass media across Pakistan.
Sidra Salman Creative Director, Synergy Group has been working exceptionally in the advertising field for twelve years and acing it completely.
Mannal Jayyad Dar owns the clothing line brand stampede and deals in women's wear. She also deals in paintings and art products.
