Banana, honey & hazelnut smoothie
A delicious smoothie that makes a satisfying snack or filling breakfast drink.
Ingredients
Two peeled, sliced banana
250ml organic milk
One tsp honey
Two tsp chopped hazelnuts
Method:Blend the banana with milk, honey, and a spoon of grated nuts until smooth. Pour into two large glasses and top with the toasted, chopped hazelnuts and serve.
Minty pineapple smoothie
There is nothing healthier than this smoothie than fruit - this green blend contains spinach, oats, flaxseed, and cashew nuts too.
Ingredients
200g pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
A few mint leaves
Baby spinach leaves 50g
Oats 25g
Two tbsp flaxseed
handful unsalted cashew nuts
fresh lime juice, to taste
Method:Put all the ingredients in a blender, add 200ml water, and process until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more water until the right mix.

One small banana chopped
100ml orange juice, chilled
Method:Mix the strawberries in a blender with the banana and orange juice until smooth, and serve yourself a tangy treat.

For your heat fix, start your day with an orange and carrot smoothie for breakfast. Add some oats and ginger for vitamin C and instant boast of strength.
Ingredients
Two carrots, peeled and roughly chopped or grated
Two peeled oranges
Few pieces of ginger, grated
Two tbsp of oats
100g ice
Method:Blend all the ingredients and blitz until smooth. If the smoothie is thick for you, add 150ml water – alter the consistency to your liking.
