Discover D’ART FEST 2019: A Street Art & Fashion Smorgasbord In Lahore

Pakistan’s biggest Street Art Fest took place this weekend and featured life size murals and performances by 25 renowned (local and international) artists. DISCOVER – a platform created by MINT PR & MINT CONCEPTS, brought together Pakistan’s biggest street art event to Lahore under one roof to kick start the New Year with DISCOVER D’ ART FEST.

Launching their first event in Lahore, D’ART FEST aspires to become an annual event. This year, the theme for the event was ‘Street Art Culture.’ The event showcased works of 25 renowned local and international artists from various creative fields. This was an event that highlighted Street Art and Hip Hop culture by infusing art, fashion, music and presentations on a broader spectrum. The Street Art Pop-Up Museum at the event displayed life size murals of 12 established artists. With exclusive art and installations by Tapu Javeri and Suleman Faisal, the event also included acclaimed video works by Nida Ramzan and Sana Jafri.

Ace fashion designers Wardha Saleem and Fahad Hussayn also created exclusive capsule collections for their fashion showcase at the event with hair and makeup by the talented Saima Rashid Bargfrede.

Further along, there was various exhilarating performances by the renowned international stomp group ‘Stomp Drummers Crazy Orchestra’ and the ‘Parkour Group.’

Many well-known Lahore talents were spotted at the event including HSY, Ali Sethi, Alyzeh Gabol, Nooray Bhatty, among others.
