Renowned Pakistani celebrities were also present at the second edition of the Film Festival. It kicked off with 7 Din Mohabbat In, Parchi, Verna and Cake, being screened to excited audiences on Saturday. Followed by three more films, Na Band Na Baraati, La La Begum and Punjab Nahi Jaungi that were screened on the silver screen on Sunday.
The two-time Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy also shared her future documentary projects and revealed an upcoming film about Lahore activist Syed Ghulam Fatima, who puts up a fight for the rights of men, women and children working at brick kilns in poor conditions. She added, Home 1947 – a documentary on the impact of partition on migrating populations was under works.
A stellar performance by singer Zeb Bangash was delivered towards the end of the ceremony.
