Exclusive HELLO! Photoshoot With Samina Ahmed In March 2020 Showcased Her Grace And Elegance

Before the coronavirus emergency hit the world, H! Pakistan had produced its March 2020 issue with exclusive photoshoots and interviews with a well-thought out list of celebrities who we felt were the ideal subjects for ‘Women’s Month’ — we chose female actors who have been stalwarts of Pakistan’s film and drama industry for many years. And in our list were none other than two time honoured heroines — actors, Samina Ahmed and Bushra Ansari.



No doubt, the most beautiful and inspiring photoshoot of the issue was the one with both these ladies who brought their individual style and grace in front of the lens. The beautiful location —the historic Hindu Gymkhana building which is where the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) is located was an ideal backdrop, further beautified by Pomme Afzal of Phenomena events.

As per brief, we loved the ladies’ classic outfit choices — Samina jee looked like a true lady in her sarees and ghararas which are her signature style choices even on set. 

Looking back, there is no doubt that HELLO! has captured the best of Pakistan in its print magazine shoots. Meanwhile, we wish Samina Ahmed a blissful marriage with distinguished thespian Manzar Sehbai. The couple tied the knot just a few days ago  — a ray of light for all those in lockdown as we reevaluate our plans and our priorities.
