After the pleasant weather in most parts of the country, the sun is here and it’s unbearable. It’s like the sun is in no mood to show us any mercy soon. 
 
The temperature is crossing the 35 degree mark every day in Pakistan. But, this is not about just feeling the heat anymore, this is about the scorching rays of the sun which are causing several health risks to the human body and what you eat matters a lot.
As this summer will continue to make our lives difficult, it’s our time to hit back with some eating tips to keep our body cool. 
 
Here is what you should eat this summer to protect yourself from this cruel sun:
 
Watermelon: 

Keeping yourself hydrated is a task now-a-days and what’s better than a juicy fruit like watermelon. It is a great source of hydration and therefore the best cooling food to have during summer.


 
Yogurt:


Yogurt is rich in probiotics therefore it cools our body. It boosts immunity and reduce the probability of UTI infections which are common in summers
 


Basil Seeds: 

Basil seeds are a natural cooling agent undoubtedly and helps alleviate acidity, constipation, and keeps your skin health.
 


Cucumbers: 


Cucumbers are perfect for the hot summer days as they contain a lot of water and helps in keeping you cool and hydrated. Make sure to eat them raw.


 
Tomatoes: 


Tomatoes are a great source of Vitamin C and water. They guard your skin against the ultraviolet rays of the sun
