HUM TV NETWORK CELEBRATES AND ACKNOWLEDGES ICONIC WOMEN IN PAKISTAN AND BEYOND
On the occasion of Women's day, HUM TV Network once again managed to honor a selection of iconic women in Pakistan and around the world for their contributions to the socio-economic development of the country through HUM Women Leaders Award. The ceremony took place at the President's House - the awards aimed to celebrate the women who stand out of the crowd because of their potential and resilience to push the envelope, paving way for more females to follow suit.
The first-ever HUM Women Leaders Award took place at the Governor House last year in February. This year the awards were hosted by Hareem Farooq and Sanam Saeed. President HUM Network Sultana Siddiqui welcomed the awardees and guests at the LUX HUM Women Leaders Award 2021.
The President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, along First Lady Samina Alvi, Sultana Siddiqui, Duraid Qureshi, and Momina Duraid, and many prominent faces within the entertainment industry were spotted at the event. President Arif also shared his views on the importance of women's empowerment.
When it comes to Women Empowerment in Pakistan, HUM TV Network stands on top of other TV channels for supporting the dynamic women around the world because women are the most ardent and powerfully indispensable entities nobody can do without.

Historian and Educationist Ayesha Jalal who attended the event via a video message, has been awarded the LUX HUM Women Leaders Award 2021 for her exemplary services in the fields.
