Creamy Garlic Mushrooms On Toast

If you’re one of those people who have a hard time digesting dinner after a full fledged iftar then this easy to make, creamy garlic mushroom on toast recipe is perfect for you. Give this recipe a try and let us know how it turns out!

Ingredients

  • 9 oz mushrooms (white or brown)

  • 1 small onion

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ cup cream 

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp parsley, fresh 

  • 1-2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Large sandwich bread 


 

Instructions

  • Slice the mushrooms length-ways and add to a pan with olive oil on medium heat, fry for about five-six minutes.

  • Chop the onion and garlic and add to the pan. Fry for another five minutes or so, until soft.

  • Add the cream, salt and pepper, parsley, soy and Worcestershire sauce.

  • Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for another five minutes. 

  • Spread the mushroom sauce over a slice of bread and serve hot!
