Zayn Malik Reveals Gigi Hadid Helped Set Up Taylor Swift Duet

Zayn Malik teamed up with Taylor Swift for a Fifty Shades Darker  soundtrack tune called  I Don't Wanna Live Forever that has topped the iTune charts. However what is interesting to note here is that, Zayn's girlfriend Gigi Hadid helped set up his recent collaboration with Taylor Swift as reported by Zayn.

The former  One Direction star asked Taylor to sing on the track and was not nervous about persuading her to agree to be a part of the song, due to Gigi's insider info.

“The interesting thing was [Taylor’s] actually friends with Gi, so she already reached out because Jack [Antonoff] had just played her the song anyway, just because we’d done it together and she really liked it, and she mentioned to me that she liked the song so I already kind of knew in the back of my head that she liked it so I asked her if she wanted to be on it and she was cool with it!” Zayn said on the Elvis Duran radio show. 

“We were kind of in separate places when I mentioned the idea to her, I spoke to her on the phone and she heard the song because Jack [Antonoff] had played it to her,” Zayn elaborated. “So she really liked it and she went in the studio the next day, I think she was somewhere else I can’t remember exactly where she was.”

Though rumours were quick to surface about the duo crushing on each other, it has been confirmed that there is no such thing and that all is well in the land of Gigi and Zayn.
