Hadiqa Kiani Set To Return With A Fashion Film
Following a string of high profile performances around the world and Pakistan, the artist is launching a fashion film, presenting music, fashion and drama in what is said to be an unprecedented way. The collaboration has been directed in Hollywood by Beverly Hills based experiential designer and creative director, Akanksha Mirchandani.
About the project, Mirchandani shares, “I am so excited to be collaborating with Hadiqa on this project, combining fashion with elements of spiritual folk music is going to make for an interesting juxtaposition."
The two met in Los Angeles at the Fashion Institute of Design and Technology’s annual Museum Gala in 2016, one of the many high profile events that Mirchandani has curated , and instantly felt creatively in-sync. Since then, Kiani has taken Mirchandani on as a part of this mega project, combining the spiritual purity of Wajd with modern elements of folk and fashion. The film is supposed to launch at the end of the year, we can’t wait to hear more!
Akansha Mirchandani is a Los Angeles based experiential designer and creative director. She worked with the Hilton family for years, designed and produced events that have been attended by major Beverly Hills socialites like Kris Jenner, Paris & Nicky Hilton, the Jackson Family - Michael, Janet, Latoya and Larry King to name a few. She produced Nicky Rothschild's Los Angeles baby shower that received a lot of praise in tabloids such as US Weekly, E! News as well as press internationally.Most recently, she also worked with Melissa Andre's team on Several celebrity projects. She is now collaborating with Hadiqa Kiani to create her latest project.
