Sandra Oh made history at the Golden Globes last week where she was the first actress of Asian descent in 39 years to win the Globe for best leading TV actress, but we are not surprised as she is a big winner once again. She took home the award for Best Actress in drama series- The Killing Eve on Sunday night.
The Favourite, which stars Golden Globe winner Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz and Joe Alwyn, lead the pack with 14 nominations which included Best Picture. Black Panther followed with 12 nominations and First Man with 10. Movies with nine nods include A Star Is Born, Vice and Mary Poppins Returns. The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story was also part of the big winners.
Moving on these handsome men won Best Actors: Christian Bale, Vice; Bradley Cooper, A Star Is Born; Ryan Gosling, First Man; Ethan Hawke, First Reformed; Rami Malek, Bohemian Rhapsody; Viggo Mortensen, Green Book; Willem Dafoe, At Eternity's Gate. Best Actress went to Yalitza Aparicio for ROMA and Emily Blunt for Mary Poppins Returns.
