AHAD RAZA MIR - ACTOR

Only a handful of actors truly manage to ignite a spell of fanatic anticipation, love and reverence with every project that they star in. Ahad Raza Mir is on that brief list. The Canadian-Pakistani actor was a treat to watch in the drama 'Yeh Dil Mera', sharing screen-space with newly-wedded wife Sajal. Onscreen he is inimitable, his countenance softening and hardening with heroic malleability, making him a seasoned artist who can perform the most challenging roles. He was signed to play the role of Hamlet in Vertigo Theatre in Canada making him the first South Asian actor to play the role professionally in Canada. For his performance he won the Betty Mitchell Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama.
