Open Day of Pioneer Residency in Khushab

Imagine viewing large scale outdoor sculptures on a beautiful sunny day at the beginning of Spring in Punjab, Pakistan. That is how Rashid and Aroosa Rana celebrated Spring last week at the Open Day of Pioneer Residency in Khushab district. What a perfect way; it does not get any better than that. 









This two week long artists’ residency had been organized by Pioneer Cement industries with help from Canvas Gallery which is based in Karachi. The residency culminated with an open day that was visited by many art lovers from all over Pakistan and included art students from Beaconhouse National University (BNU) and National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore.
