Free Fire Pakistan League I

Introduction

Free Fire Pakistan League is Pakistan's highest-level professional Free Fire event. Following the tremendous success of FFCS, Garena Free Fire once again teamed with NGES to stage the inaugural edition of FFPL in Pakistan in February 2021.

The first edition of Free Fire Pakistan League had a prize pool of approximately 24 LACS PKR, making it the first Esports tournament with this big of a prize pool.

NGES was in charge of ensuring that everything from fundamental operations to smaller operations was carried out efficiently. Execution of qualifiers in each location, photoshoots for players, DVCs, transport and accommodation management, and other league activities. The Grand Final took place on January 30 in Karachi.

NGES handled all of the tournament's logistics, including the procurement and handling of all gaming equipment and internet, as well as the tournament and core league operations. Catering to such a large audience while handling all broadcast operations and players was not a simple task, but NGES's sheer dedication made it appear so.

Team TG won the first edition of the FFPL, taking home a reward of 12 LACS PKR and a spot in the Free Fire World Series.

Conclusion

This was a stepping stone for Free Fire to establish a foundation for their Esports base in Pakistan, and NGES was there to ensure that the foundation was robust and Pakistan's Esports ecosystem is here to thrive.
