Introduction
The third season of the Free Fire Pakistan League took place in February 2022. This was the largest FFPL yet. For this tournament, Free Fire collaborated with Game Bird, Pakistan's first Esports platform, as the title sponsor and Infinix co-sponsor.
FFPL III
Free Fire squads from throughout the country competed for a prize pool of one crore PKR. The prize pool was shared among the top 18 teams, with the champion receiving 35 LACS PKR.
The Avenues Marquee in Lahore hosted the FFPL III Grand Final. Exciting activities such as spin the wheel, bowling, and gaming arenas were set up to keep the crowd interested. On the occasion, Bilal Khan and Aleem RK performed the theme song, 'Naye Daur kay Champions.' Many celebrities, like Tabish Hashmi, Nadir Ali, Aiman Khan, Shahzad Khan, and Ukhano, attended the event to promote the country's Esports culture. The event was attended by Free Fire officials from Vietnam, including Binh, the national head, Tram, Steven, and Hayley, who oversee the marketing department. Telenor and Infinix executives were also in attendance.
NGES flawlessly managed the whole event, from the big things like sourcing and logistics of equipment to players' travel and accommodations, handling league operations, matches, scoring, insurance of a solid internet connection, and media setup for the event.
Conclusion
Team House of Blood, which has a cult following among Free Fire fans, won the competition and will compete in the Free Fire World Series in 2022.
