Fakiha Maqsood: The Global Prodigy

The global star, Fakiha Maqsood has created history by scoring the highest percentage of marks (99%) globally in  Advanced Taxation Exam for ACCA and by doing so, she has shown the world that Pakistan does have a promising future. This young girl is beating her own records to prove the world that there’s no limit to what a girl can achieve. She has scored two Punjab wide distinctions in her Alevels, achieved the second highest marks amongst her batch during her BSC at City University London and was a national position holder in ACCA financial management exam. She takes inspiration from her father whereby she quotes that “My father is also a professional accountant and it’s his integrity, discipline and composure that made me choose accountancy as a career for me. 
 

Having studied in the UK, I knew the global recognition of ACCA and the limitless opportunities this qualification offers. And that’s why I enrolled myself in ACCA soon after returning to Pakistan”.  She looks forward to use her degree, exposure and experience to flourish the textile industry in Faisalabad through digitalisation and innovation.
