Fawad Khan To Star in 'Padmavati': Guess Who is Pushing For It!

When Fawad Khan and Deepika Padukone were seen together for Manish Malhotra's opening show in Delhi at the India Couture Week in July, they appeared to be just acquaintances having met over social gatherings and galas. However, it wasn't till after the show that the two continued to stay in touch and became friends.

As Pinkvilla.com reports, Manish told Pinkvilla.com after the show,

"I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and attitude. He came and practiced his walk. To celebrate the show, very few of us met afterwards where we discussed movies over food. I must say, I'm very impressed with how well behaved he is. We all had a great time together."

Deepika continued to build on her relationship with Fawad, and it wasn't long after that she hung out with him along with Manish and Anushka Sharma on the sets of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Earlier during the month at the wrap party of the film in Taj Lands End, Mumbai, Pinkvilla.com says the two were seen together as professionals discussing movies, actors and other similar interests. However, one thing is for sure, Deepika is very impressed by Fawad.

Sources tell us that Deepika has become very fond of Fawad and wishes for him to be a part of the upcoming Sanja Leela's film  Padmavati. Though, rumours have it that Deepika has a confirmed role in the film, she also opts for Fawad and sees him fit for the male lead in the film.

If this is true, the duo of Deepika and Fawad in one movie together will be one to surely watch out for!
