She posted a close-up shot of her side profile with her hand tucked behind her ear—showing off a very-obvious engagement ring. She captioned the image ‘I said YES’. And uploaded another picture where Falak is seen on his knees proposing to his lady love, dressed in a stunning deep red ensemble.
The groom confirmed the news by posting an image of his bride-to-be’s hand which was slathered with henna and had ‘Falak ki dulhan’ written on the edge of her palm.
Later that night, the couple shared pictures from their Mehndi event. Sarah opted for a traditional, yellow outfit while Falak wore a traditional maroon kurta. It was a night filled with happiness, love and, of course, dances. The next day on June 16, they had their traditional Nikkah ceremony surrounded with their loved ones. Right when the bride-to-be broke the news, Social Media was trending with glimpses from their proposal and of their Mehndi festivity. The two kept their relationship and wedding festivities super private.
