About flydubai and its network

From its home in Dubai, flydubai has created a network of more than 130 destinations across 55 countries. Since commencing operations in June 2009, flydubai has been committed to removing barriers to travel, creating free flows of trade and tourism and enhancing connectivity between different cultures across its ever-expanding network.

The Dubai-based carrier has built a growing network across Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Central and South-East Europe, the GCC and the Middle East, South Asia and South-East Asia.

The carrier has opened more than 97 new routes that did not previously have direct air links to Dubai or were not served by a UAE national carrier from Dubai. flydubai has also carried more than 120 million passengers since it began operations in 2009.

Some of flydubai’s popular holiday destinations include Budapest in Hungary, Prague in the Czech Republic, Milan-Bergamo in Italy, Mombasa in Kenya, Zanzibar in Tanzania, and the Maldives.

The Dubai-based carrier operates one of the youngest fleets in the skies with 88 Boeing 737 aircraft. Whether in Business Class or Economy Class, flydubai passengers can look forward to a comfortable and enhanced travel experience both in the air and on the ground.  

Business Class passengers can experience the airline’s signature lie-flat seat that rivals the experience offered on a wide-body aircraft. Featuring a bed length of 75 inches, AC and USB A power outlets, generous stowage as well as ambient lighting, enjoy exceptional comfort throughout your flight along with internationally-inspired menus. 

Business Class passengers can also look forward to an enhanced travel experience with flydubai’s new dedicated Business Class check-in area at Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB). The dedicated space offers flydubai’s Business Class passengers a unique and smooth check-in experience with a personalised Meet and Assist service, seated check-in and a Fast Track service through passport control and security lanes before enjoying the carrier’s new Business Class Lounge.

The modern 900-square-metre lounge can accommodate more than 200 passengers, offering a comfortable space both for relaxation and productivity. Providing a variety of seating configuration areas including dining, lounging and a quiet space for relaxation, customers can enjoy a wide range of dining options including an internationally inspired buffet and an à la carte option, shower facilities, a thoughtfully designed prayer room as well as other practical amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, workstations and multiple charging stations. 

Passengers travelling in Economy Class can also sit back, relax and enjoy their flight with seats that offer a gentle recline and an adjustable leather headrest.  

The inflight entertainment includes a full HD, 11.6-inch screen with a wide selection of movies, TV shows, music and games in English, Arabic and Russian. 

flydubai’s operations to Pakistan 

flydubai operates four daily flights to Karachi Airport (KHI) from Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB). The carrier also operates flights to Faisalabad, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Quetta and Sialkot.
