TOP 9 LOOKS FROM THE GLITTERING CANNES FILM FESTIVAL
The Cannes Film Festival 2022 was glittering with many stars from the global cinema on the red carpet. Here are nine of our favorite looks from the stunning show.
1)DEEPIKA PADUKONE
Deepika Padukone had high expectations set on her being a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival and It's easy to say she didn't disappoint! Deepika walked in on the red carpet wearing a black and gold Sabyasachi saree paired with a bun, accessorised with a golden headband fit for a queen. Her makeup choice was the cherry on top for this look, The dramatic kohl rimmed eyes and nude lips only made her look pop. Deepika is one to never disappoint when it comes to fashion.
2)ELLE FANNING
Elle Fanning walked on the red carpet in a pink custom Armani Prive gown. Elle wore a very feminine look and channelled ‘Aurora’ from ‘Sleeping Beauty’. Her dress had a feminine yet powerful design and paired with her blonde hair and simple make up, her look is perfect. She opted for Chopard Jewels to complete this look and stun everyone on the red carpet.
3)VIOLA DAVIS
Viola Davis showed off her vibrant style on the red carpet in a bright yellow gown. Her gown had a ruffled off-the-shoulder look and a bodice which gave the illusion of a corset. This dress also has beautiful pleats and a thick waistband. Viola paired her dress with her curly crown and simple glam and berry lips.
4)REBECCA HALL
Rebecca Hall, another fellow juror at the Cannes Film Festival. Her Gucci ensemble had a red and pink combination paired with embellishments and an organza ruffled cuffs. Rebecca came in to stun, and stun she did. Her vibrant dress paired with her short hair and red lips made a statement on the red carpet that can't be topped.
5)KATHERINE LANGFORD
Katherine Langford was dripping in silver in a glittering custom Prada dress. The column gown was covered from head to toe in sequins and had a train to match. Pairing it with an elegant updo and simple makeup. She definitely turned heads in this ensemble.
6)JULIANE MOORE
Juliane Moore opted for a more of a classic look, but that didn't mean she didn't make a statement or turn heads. Julianne wore a drop waist black gown by Bottega Venneta. She exudes old Hollywood in her look, and we expect nothing less from her. Her plunging neckline was perfectly paired with a blinding statement necklace.
7)EVA LONGORIA
Eva Longoria is a stunner through and through, as well as a risk-taker. In this look, she wore a sheer black Alberta Ferretti gown. Her gown was anything but a simple black dress, not only was it sheer, but it also had a plunging neckline and beautiful ruffles. She paired her look with black high heels and a Chopard diamond choker.
8)JENNIFER CONNELLY
Seems like silver was the colour for this festival and running on theme. Jennifer Connelly stunned everyone in an off-the-shoulder structured dress. Her dress was beautifully beaded and had hints of black all around the floor-length gown. Pairing it with a slick black bun, smoky eyes and minimal jewellery, this look was perfect head to toe.
9)LORI HARVEY
Last but definitely not the least, Lori Harvey came to shine in a bright yellow ballgown from Alexandre Vauthier's Spring 2020 Couture collection with a cinched bodice and full tiered skirt, as well as a pair of coordinating gold pumps. She wore around 130 carats of diamond with a Messika High Jewelry necklace which was more than 100 carats, as well as diamond earrings and rings by the same brand.
