Lady in Red: Gigi Hadid makes a bold statement in red flared trouser suit at 2016 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards

Around this time of the year, with the summer sun shining bright, comes along another steamy treat - Canada's block party - The iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards. Some of the music's biggest names come together for the annual awards show, but in this case we can't keep our eyes of the host! 

The event that was hosted outside 299 Queen Street West in the city, saw an array of stars hit the outdoor red carpet including Gigi Hadid who made her bold and most colourful looks yet.

The beautiful model, who was hosting the show, made sure all eyes were glued onto her as she showed up in a bright red trouser suit and sparkling diamond choker. She completed the look with a scarlet lipstick along with her hair loosely swept back and braided.

The model of the moment claimed to be super happy hosting the ceremony as for the first time MMVAs has teamed up with iHeartRadio.

"It's all about the fans. So happy to be here hosting the @iheartradio @muchmusic #MMVAs!!" she wrote on Instagram.
