YOCA Bambini Gives Back
YOCA Bambini launched last year, which was a collection of clothes and baby furniture and was an immediate hit! With its immense success, coupled with these tragedies, YOCA Bambini took a break this year. Instead they geared last season’s proceeds and directed them to producing the very same clothes for underprivileged children.
Sarah, along with her little army of mini me’s recently visited Sirat-ul-Jannah Orphanage in Karachi, which houses young children who have known little or no security in their lives. The gesture of handing out Eid clothes, in retrospect may seem small, however the children’s response to their Eid presents was nothing short of heartwarming.
YOCA strives to teach the new generation compassion, aiming to make it an integral part of their message moving forward; what is encouraging to see is that these values are being instilled in the Creative Director’s own children as well. No child deserves ill treatment, she said. We must teach our children compassion, so they grow up learning the importance of giving and generosity. With the customer’s generous contribution to the success of last year’s launch and the Bambini Gives Back project complete, YOCA hopes to inculcate the message of compassion through such initiatives into the future as well.
