Kapoor & Sons starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan didn't just do exceptionally well on the Box Office but the directors across border had a great time producing the movie with him. Shakun Batra in a recent interview expressed his feelings saying that he truly misses Fawad and had a great time working with the Humsafar star. The hype may have come and gone, but the actor left a mark that seems to be unforgettable in B-town.
According to the director,
“I miss him a lot. I don’t know if I am supposed to be quiet about it.. and I don’t miss him because of any other things, I miss him simply because he is a great guy and he is a lovely collaborator."
He further added, "We Indians who work around the world, we do it legally, similarly, if somebody else wants to work legally in our country, it should be open. It should be a two-way street.”
The film starring Fawad Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Rishi Kapoor was one the top hits of 2016. Fawad also bagged a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor, which however was won by Rishi Kapoor. Fawad has two other Bollywood movies under his belt, the first one being Khoobsurat and the second one where he made an appearance in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
