‘Learning to Play a Musical Instrument for Rangreza has Been Therapeutic’, says Gohar.
The film requires both the actors to learn how to play musical instruments for the role. Both the actors have accepted the challenge of learning a musical instrument- for the first time, Bilal is training to play the guitar while Gohar is learning the dholak.
“This is for sure, after the movie, I will be able to play a musical instrument and I am excited about this” said Gohar.
The duo is learning to play their respective instruments despite having to travel for other shoots. It has been a bit difficult to manage for Bilal but he feels that the instrument is not just a mere part of the character, but rather defines the character.
Gohar believes that learning a musical instrument is so therapeutic that you just want to play it.
“You don’t have to take out time from your schedule to play the instrument, it’s like I want to play the instrument whenever I get time”, he says.
The actors are working hard to learn a new talent in such a short period of time and it is quite impressive.
In conversation with H! Pakistan, Bilal confidently said,
“I believe I will be able to pull it off. I think nothing is impossible and I usually perform better under pressure”.
Rangreza will feature a love triangle between Ashraf, Rasheed, and Sana Javed against a musical backdrop. While Sana has earlier worked with Gohar in a number of different plays, this will be the first time she will star opposite Bilal.
The film will mark Javed’s debut and is scheduled to go on floors this August!
