Coke Studio season 9 has recently released its second episode featuring Rahat Fateh Ali Khan with Momina Mustehsan singing Afreen Afreen. Though fans have mixed feelings about the Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's original, the rendition has gained a lot of recognition, making it to the top 10 trending in Pakistan on Twitter.

The original may have a charm of its own, however, no doubt the brilliant performance by Engineer and Mathematician Momina has proved herself to be more than just a woman of profession, she is an inspiration for all. Her voice is able to make even the hardest of hearts stop and enjoy the tune. Qawalis recreated as songs may at first sound a bit odd, but once heard a few times can be soothing and definitely a must-have on your playlist.
