1) Oil massage for textured hair in summer
Giving an oil massage to the scalp during summer is a very good tip to follow to dump the dirt and dust out of the scalp. It is also recommended to improve the blood circulation of the scalp and to strengthen the hair roots.
2) Get a haircut
It’s always best to get a trim before summer. The sun will do extra damage to hair that’s already dry, so if you remove those dead ends, you’ll be in better shape.
3) Brush carefully
Since hair is most fragile when it’s wet, don’t rip a brush through it after swimming. Spray some detangler on it, and then use a wide-tooth comb to minimise breakage.
4) Sun exposure
Use products with UV protection. If you're going to be swimming, make sure to find a product that is also waterproof.
5) Humidity
Solution: Use products with moisture in them. If you use heat in your hair and don’t add moisture to it, when you go outside, the hair will absorb the moisture in it and that’s when the humidity affects it.
