Easy Mac And Cheese Recipe

A quick and easy fix to a tasty side-dish. Fancy mac and cheese often costs a lot to prepare when you have so many exotic and expensive cheeses, but they aren't always the best tasting. But we’ve got you covered.

This recipe is quick and tasty.

 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 box elbow macaroni 

  • 1/4 butter 

  • 1/4 cup flour 

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 

  • Black pepper 

  • 2 cups milk 

  • 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Method:

Step 1

Cook the elbow macaroni in boiling salted water for eight minutes until tender and drain well. 

Step 2

Heat butter in a saucepan over medium heat and stir in the flour, salt, and pepper until smooth, for about five minutes. Gradually add milk into butter-flour mixture. Simmer until mixture is smooth and bubbling. Add cheddar cheese to the mixture and stir until cheese is melted for two to four minutes.

Step 3

Put macaroni into the cheese sauce until completely coated.
