This recipe is quick and tasty.
Ingredients:
- 1 box elbow macaroni
- 1/4 butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Black pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Method:
Step 1
Cook the elbow macaroni in boiling salted water for eight minutes until tender and drain well.
Step 2
Heat butter in a saucepan over medium heat and stir in the flour, salt, and pepper until smooth, for about five minutes. Gradually add milk into butter-flour mixture. Simmer until mixture is smooth and bubbling. Add cheddar cheese to the mixture and stir until cheese is melted for two to four minutes.
Step 3
Put macaroni into the cheese sauce until completely coated.
