The latest collection by Nickie Nina boasts of grandeur and abundance. The designer duo ensures that their latest bridal campaign, entitled Nouvelle Mariée, as the name suggests, is feminine, classic and in line with the signature craftsmanship and contemporary aura of the renowned brand.



An amalgamation of timeless yet traditional silhouettes, the collection has been designed keeping in mind the tastes of modern women who want their outfits to stand out while retaining an aura of inheritance and tradition. Nickie and Nina, who also happen to be sisters, have drawn on elements of history, fantasy and folklore to create the timeless masterpieces.



Drawing inspiration from the ornate architectural motifs of European palaces, Nickie Nina has reinvented Eastern couture with their Nouvelle Mariée collection, rethinking classics, not traditions. Featuring luxurious brocades, coupled with intricate multi-dimensional embroidery, the collection embraces the romance of royal couturiers of the times gone by. Jewel tones - in hues of emerald, garnet and amethyst - bring to life these works of meticulous craftsmanship; whilst specialist cuts with a hint of peekaboo remain intertwined with the very definition of this collection.

Pakistani actress Sumbul Iqbal serves as the muse for Nouvelle Mariée and rightfully so, as she brings a feminine touch to the images; she looks ethereal and confident and brings a very refreshing feel to the shoot. Her delicate facial features and body frame is very traditional bride like but the expressions and the body language give a very royal feel to the entire collection.
