Revamping your living space takes a lot of effort. Decluttering, getting the right furniture, adjusting the light, finding the perfect decor, and so on. But what is an essential part of setting the tone for a room is undoubtedly the wall paint. It is the base of all other interior designs like a canvas which is going to be the primary mood of the room. That's why the exclusive owner of NovaColor wall paint Nasr Khan decided to take his passion for architecture to the next level by reconstructing modern homes with a high demand for Italian wall paint unlike anyone in Pakistan before.
Nasr Khan is one of those distinguished personalities who has made a name for himself in the world of art, architecture, and interiors. Being the sole owner as well as distributor of the Italian NovaColor in Pakistan for the past 3 decades, he creates exquisite luxury walls with decorative finishes and lovely texture. Earning multiple accolades for his work, his vision and competence helped him bring international brands to Pakistan. He has worked in the UAE and Pakistan on high-end wall textures for restaurants, homes, offices, and other commercial projects where he decorated every kind of space with his admirably unique wall paint. Nasr Khan is now one of the most esteemed names in the world of architecture and interior design for his initiative in bringing the one-of-a-kind walls to the country. The visionary businessman has reimagined opulence by developing the right ambiance for the mood of a particular space. Khan has previously stated that architectural design is his passion and shared his pride in owning a leading wall coating company that is present in more than 60+ countries.
As someone who considers himself to be an artist by nature Nasr Khan initially pursued science but eventually studied commerce, then finally discovered his love for interior design, particularly Italian wall textures and hasn’t looked back since. Khan primarily expresses himself through his work and his beautiful walls are proof. Pioneering a market for Italian wall textures in Pakistan, his passion is evident in his work.
When asked about his process during the making of his walls Khan stated, “Basically, we are associated with the top architects in Pakistan and somehow when I look at all the different sites, the ambiance, with the flooring, the walls, the curtains, the furniture; then I suggest to my client and my architect that this kind of finish is suitable for this area. They already have 3D images that they send to us so we can have a combined meeting and decide which product to use. This is because Nova color has 36 brands, 36 different kinds of finishes and after customizing them we have a thousand different finishes.”
Khan has previously worked with several notable brands such as Khaadi, Almirah, J dot, Debenhams, Next, Fuhrer, and Eden Drop, as well as some restaurants like PF Changs, Miyako, and Cocochan in Karachi. Now the maestro has several other projects in the pipeline including the making of walls in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, and the UAE, and we can't wait to see what this creative visionary does next!
