Saba Qamar Assures her Latest Venture in Bollywood is Going To be 'Fresh and Entertaining'

Pakistani actress Saba Qamar is all set to make her debut in Bollywood alongside Piku actor, Irrfan Khan. Saba was recently in Mumbai India for the first stages of the movie, where a first look photo shoot of the movie was shot and released.

According to Tribune, Saba will be playing 'the character of a wife who is a wee bit dominating and is looked after very tenderly by her husband, played by Irrfan Khan.'

Speaking to H! Pakistan Saba Qamar said it was too soon for her to be sharing more information about the project but guaranteed it will be worth the watch.

"I can assure you that the content of the movie is fresh and entertaining" she said. 

The actress said that the shoot will begin in July and is looking forward to the experience of working on her first Bollywood project.

This year we will see Saba Qamar in a Pakistani movie, Lahore se Aagey, a sequel to 2015’s blockbuster film, Karachi se Lahore. The movie is scheduled to release on September 10. The cast also includes Rubina Ashraf and Behroze Sabzwari whereas Saba Qamar will play role of a rockstar.

Previously Qamar has worked in the film Manto as Noor Jehan, and acted in several popular drama serials including Dastaan and Maat.
