Ali Zafar Reportedly Sends Legal Notice To Meesha Shafi Demands Rs100 Crore and Meesha Responds

Ali Zafar's legal counsel has sent Meesha Shafi a Rs100 crore defamation notice for the sexual harassment allegations she made against him on Twitter last week.

In a statement on Twitter singer Meesha accused rockstar Ali Zafar of sexually harassing her on more than one occasion.

However, Ali Zafar denied all allegations in a statement on the same day, "I categorically deny any and all claims of harassment lodged against me by Ms Shafi."

Reportedly, in the legal notice, Ali Zafar has demanded that Meesha deletes the tweet that contains her allegations against him and issues an apology on Twitter, failing which he will file a Rs100 crore defamation suit against her. 

Meesha has responded,

“I have appointed Barrister @pansota1 and @nighatdad as my legal counsels to look after all issues pertaining to my sexual harassment claim against Ali Zafar. Media is requested to contact them to get any update on the ongoing issue.”
