Model Zara Abid was amongst the 99 passengers of the ill-fated PIA plane crash. Unfortunately, Zara did not survive.







After hoping and praying for a day that she would have survived the crash, news broke the next morning that only two passengers had recovered. This was a huge shock to the Pakistani fashion industry. She was returning back to Karachi after flying out to Lahore for a family emergency. Tributes poured in on Social Media from celebrities, designers, fellow models and fans for the 28-year-old model to express their grief and sorrow over her demise.





HELLO! had the opportunity to work with Zara countless times. She stunned on our covers not once but twice! De nitely a personality one can never forget. She was known for her beautiful dusky skin which she would proudly show off. Zara, you have left a huge hole in the industry and we will surely miss you. Rest in peace.
