Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh in Padmavati Is Revealed

Days after Deepika Padukone's regal look from upcoming move  Padmavati was revealed, the makers of the film unveiled a picture of Shahid Kapoor and it will blow your mind!

Shahid Kapoor took to Twitter to reveal his look and it is taking the internet by storm. Introducing his character, Shahid called him a symbol of courage, strength and respect.

Shahid will be seen essaying the role of MahaRawal Ratan Singh, husband of Deepika’s character in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial.

In the poster shared, Shahid, whose face is scarred is seen in a heavy bearded look, twirled moustache, kohl filled eyes, a red tika on his forehead and pearl jewellery adding to his regal, warrior look.

A follow-up poster shows the actor in a bloodied white angarkha standing in battle field holding a sword amidst soldiers who are seen fighting the battle.

Sharing the posters, Deepika, Shahid and actor Ranveer Singh, who will be playing the role of Alauddin Khilji tweeted, “Saahas, samarthya aur samman ka prateek.”

Padmavati is set to go on floors on December 1.
