You kicked off your acting debut in drama ‘Fairy Tale’. How would you describe the experience in a couple of words?
They say the best things in life happen unexpectedly. To say that ‘Fairy Tale’ was a rollercoaster of learning and self- improvement would still be an understatement. So, I would just confide in saying it was like you go to set every day, have a crazy fun day creating those scenes, and come back feeling fulfilled as an artist.
Can you share a memorable moment from the sets of ‘Fairy Tale’?
The best part about our set is that we’re literally like a bunch of goofy friends who keep roasting each other the entire time so each day spent was memorable.
How did you bag your acting debut?
I started as an influencer and then was approached by the production after they saw a piece of my content that went viral on YouTube for a bit.
You started off as a content creator, when did you realise you wanted to act?
Looking back at it, I think I always had an admiration for this craft and destiny somehow led me to this path.
With so many new upcoming talents in the acting industry, do you feel a certain pressure? Are you competitive?
There is definitely an uncountable number of talented artists in today’s day but for me personally, I think just the fact that I am getting to live something that I manifested is enough and I don’t feel a part of any race or competition.
What is your daily mantra for happiness?
So, I go to my rooftop when I come back from work, put music on and create fake scenarios in my head, a very Gen Z thing to do, but pure joy I tell you!
Favourite movie of all time?
That’s tough, but its ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘The Shawshank Redemption’.
What’s your biggest fear?
I think it’s the fear of being left alone.
Describe yourself in three words?
Determined, impulsive and a cinnamon roll.
What’s next for Amna Youzasaif? Will we be seeing you in any projects soon?
‘InshAllah’ very soon! And I hope in something completely different from the current character.
