COULD SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME MAKE A HOME IN OUR HEARTS?

Who doesn’t love Spiderman? A superhero that has problems every teen can relate to; a person who has financial issues, is finding himself, making mistakes but most importantly learning from them as well. This specific character was mocked when Stan Lee presented his idea but is currently making $1.132 billion worldwide because people love him. They love Spiderman and we love Spiderman.
Spider-Man: No Way Home was released on December 17, 2021, and in 10 days has crossed 1 billion dollars in global box offices. The plot, cinematography, character development, Easter eggs, meaning behind friendship and family, and most importantly ZENDAYA make the movie so much more delightful.
WATCH OUT! SPOILERS AHEAD
The movie starts with everyone knowing who Spiderman is. Some consider him a hero but others…not so much. Peter Parker (played by the gorgeous Tom Holland), MJ (Zendaya-the girlfriend), and Ned (Jacob Batalon, Peter’s best friend) decide on where they want to go for college and mutually agree on MIT. When all the three of them don’t get in their desired school (because of Peter being Spiderman and both of them being aliases in helping him save the ENTIRE universe), Peter thinks it’s up to him to get them into college. Without skipping a heartbeat he goes to visit Dr. Strange and asks him for huge favor-which backfires due to alterations in the spell. Peter then seeks an alternate solution, to talk to a leading member of the MIT board of directors. He encounters Dr. Otto Octavius and Green Goblin, followed by Electro, The Lizard, and Sandman. Dr. Strange lets him know about how the spell has malfunctioned and they have brought different villains from other universes to their dimension. Peter then sets out to send them all back and fix everything. Along the way, managing to get convinced by May, he decides to help them rather than sending them back to their universe. Peter creates a device to help Dr. Octavius and it works. Being satisfied with what Peter has done, Dr. Oct urges all of the other villains to be helped as well. Things (obviously) go south and end in the Green Goblin turning the party upside down. Everybody runs away, Electro gets more energy than he has ever received, and overall it’s a mess.
While Parker is trying to fight Goblin, May tries to help. This is where we cried super hard. The Green Goblin kills May and she dies in Peter’s arms. The news is running everywhere and Peter is nowhere to be found.
On the other hand, MJ and Ned try to find him but instead get together with the other Spider-men. The Amazing Spider Man (Andrew Garfield) and the OG Spiderman (Tobey Maguire) go to meet Parker and have a heart-to-heart. The three geniuses get together to invent cures for the villains.
Parker devises a plan to lure them to the Statue of Liberty, where they would help all of them while acknowledging the fact that it won’t be easy. Parker, Amazing, and the OG lighten up the mood and talk to each other while waiting for their plan to work. The villains take the bait, they come, and there is a huge fight because they do not want to go back to their universe, tears are shed, and lives are saved. In the end, Parker decides for everyone to forget who he is because it is the right thing to do.
Spiderman: No Way Home is a light-hearted yet amazing movie. The character portrayal and execution of each scene (even though CGI) makes it something you can see at least 5 times and not get bored.
