More than half of Pakistan has been a victim of flood this year and according to stats, this year’s flood is worse than that of 2010. People are being evacuated from their homes, with nowhere to go, nothing to eat, losing their family members and looking at their homes going away with the flood’s cruel water. Our heart weeps for them.
 
In this difficult time, some people are being an angel and providing relief to the victims by providing them food, shelter, and other necessities. Following are a few of the numbers you can contact if you’ve been a victim and requires immediate shelter for you and your family.
 
Army Flood Relief Helpline:
UAN: 1135 for the whole Pakistan
UAN: 1125 for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
 
Nowshera: Rahat to provide shelter to up to 1000 people in Nowshera. Contact on 0300 3456183
 
Bahawalpur: 80 shops and 3 houses available for shelter at Rangpur. Contact on 0343 5882516 or 0345 9891980
 
Rajanpur: Victims in Rajanpur, contact on 0333 8838619 for immediate shelter.
 
Dera Ismail Khan: A farmhouse is available for shelter with a capacity for many families. Contact on 0332 0683336 or 0333 9974268
 
Gilgit Baltistan: Few hotels are offering free accommodations and meals to stranded tourists.
