Brave Police Personnel Become Heroes In Karachi Terrorist Attack
Two attackers were killed in Karachi as four gunmen stormed the Pakistan Stock Exchange building in Karachi today morning.
Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the terrorist attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, saying the whole nation was proud of the police personnel who bravely fought militants off to avert massive casualties. Four terrorists were killed by the police after they opened fire and killed four security guards and a police sub-inspector.
While the heroic response was lauded by the political representatives of the country, Twitter users recognised their efforts as well. Prime Minister Imran Khan affirms in a statement that Pakistan has ‘no doubt’ that India was behind the attempted attack. ‘What happened in Mumbai, they wanted to do the same [in Karachi]; they wanted to spread uncertainty. We have no doubt this was done by India,’ the premier said, referring to the 2008 Mumbai attacks in which more than 160 people were killed.
