Actor Nadeem Jafri Robbed in Karachi

Another day, another tragedy or so it seems - Nadeem Jafri, actor, television host and musician was robbed this morning after armed gunmen snatched his mobile phone from him in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi on gunpoint.

The Wrong No actor was held on gunpoint by two young men in an alleged robbery incident shockingly outside his own house around sehri time on Thursday morning.

Earlier, Fakhr-e-Alam, the former chairman of the Sindh Board of Film Censors claimed in a tweet that Jafri was injured during this incident and was shot at 'multiple times' during a robbery attempt and 'received assault wounds'. However as DAWN reports, police denied this claim however, saying "there was no firing during the incident".

Miraculously he survived the attack, however, this incident left his family 'shaken up'. Following Amjad Sabri's tragic death we can only hope for a brighter and more secured future.
